Route Current

A travel discovery product that starts with time, energy, and season rather than a generic destination list.

Concept disclosure

This is an EVO DIGITAL concept project created to demonstrate product thinking and execution capability. It does not represent a shipped client engagement or verified market result.

01 / Context

The challenge

Travel inspiration pages frequently repeat the same destination lists and ignore the constraints that decide whether a trip is actually practical.

02 / Direction

The product direction

Route Current organizes discovery by available time, travel pace, season, and starting region. Editorial routes connect inspiration with realistic planning signals and clearly dated source information.

Capabilities involved

  • Discovery experience
  • Travel content architecture
  • Search strategy
  • Publishing operations

03 / Product note

Route Current begins with the shape of a trip: how much time is available, how much movement feels comfortable, and what season the traveller will encounter. It then assembles a small set of editorial routes instead of an endless list.

Each route combines a visual rhythm, realistic transfer notes, seasonal context, and links to authoritative planning sources. Dates and update status remain visible so readers can judge freshness for themselves.

The product can expand from broad inspiration into focused destination and transport pages while preserving a clear internal-link structure for search.
